Our story
Who are we ?

It all started with my mother, a street vendor, selling jewelry. For as long as I can remember, she's always been there, keeping the business alive despite the challenges and losses. While my father kept the house running with his grocery store, she moved forward, often in the shadows, with her jewelry.

But in 2010, everything changed. The earthquake struck, and my father had to close his shop, and at my mother's request, he joined him. Together, they redoubled their efforts to support our family. That's when business became the pillar of our survival.
She then found a spot at the Marché en Fer, right in the heart of the city. Slowly, things started to improve. Often, during the holidays, she would ask me to join her.
I was a teenager, and honestly, I didn't have the will to do it because I preferred to sleep, hang out, and enjoy my vacation. Not get up at 5 am and return around 9 or 10 pm It was tough, but she counted on me. And I didn't know it yet, but this experience would leave a lasting mark on me.

Then came February 13, 2018. A date where everything froze in chaos, smoke, and tears… The market burned down. The fire took everything, and with it, my mother's years of sacrifice and hard work. That day is forever etched in my memory because it was the first time I saw my mother cry… and my father, too.
Two pillars of my life, broken before me. And me, a teenager, powerless, unable to do anything but watch. It's the worst feeling I've ever had.
But she… she got back up. Again. Ready to rebuild everything from scratch.
It was at that moment that I understood: true strength doesn't lie in what we have, but in what we're willing to rebuild.

That's when I began to take an interest in her work. At first, it was for the pocket money, but soon, it was out of admiration.

She worried that her children wouldn't carry on the torch. She would have loved for her skills, her business, and her dream to live on through us.

What she didn't know was that, in the shadows, I was already thinking about a project... my project.
Today, I don't just pick up a torch. I light it in my own way.
From the ashes came a vision greater than the loss: to keep elegance alive, no matter what.
NC Bijouterie is a brand born from resilience, carried by the legacy of a mother and the vision of a son.
